FAMILY NIGHT REINVENTED

Well, His Life likes to encourage family togetherness! Our family uses Saturday nights as a special time to spend together away from other distractions... Do you have a favorite family activity? Here are some ideas to get out (or stay in)  and have some fun...  share your ideas if you do anything fun that we may not think of...

MOVIE NIGHT: pop some popcorn, rent a movie that everyone will like... Make a big cushy bed on the ground and extend it into a living room sleepover! Kids love this...

            

Take the family for a night hike... find a fun spot to
stop and enjoy the moment... If you have any music
talent, bring a guitar and bust out some songs...


Family Cookoff...
Challenge the kids to cook on teams and see who comes up with the best meal... Mom and Dad can be on separate teams... Eat a little of both and make enough for leftovers!


Creative Pizza night... make pizza at home and let everyone put their favorite ingredients in, if you are picky, make mini pizzas and let the kids go wild...

Invite the neighbors over or extended family and spread the love to other families... play some games too! 

Here is a new one you may never have heard of... Geocaching... it is an app that you can download with maps to places where people have hid small items... When you follow the maps you are lead to the treasure and it is a great way to get the family out and having some fun... but bring some trinkets along, when you find your treasure it is your job to replace it for the next people... Have some fun! We have yet to try this one but can't wait... let us know your experiences!
